After years working in the field, Griffin Hansen founded Split Rock Decks & Construction in Billings, MT in 2024 with the desire to build a business that supports his family and his dedication to hard work.

He’s a licensed, insured, hands-on builder who believes that planning, prayers, and a strong cup of coffee are all necessary parts of a quality project. With experience in framing, decking, siding, and fixing unexpected surprises, Griffin leads with meticulous attention to detail and straightforward, practical solutions.

Amanda, his beloved wife and right-hand organizer, enjoys the administration side of the business, and makes sure the behind-the-scenes to-do’s are checked off the list. Their daughter Scottie cheerfully claims her dad built every deck and house in Billings, and lights up when she gets the chance to show up with a high-five at job sites.
